Archbishop Giovanni Intini of the Diocese of Brindisi–Ostuni has invited the faithful to focus on overcoming rigidity and prejudice during the current pastoral year.

Building on a process started last year, the Archbishop wants to foster a Church style that is more welcoming, close to people, and open to dialogue. He has asked members of all pastoral communities to cross the threshold of their local groups to better encounter others.
