Abbe Patrice Savadogo incardinated in Diocese of Saint-Hyacinthe

The Diocese of Saint-Hyacinthe has officially incardinated Father Patrice Savadogo, making him a permanent member of the local clergy. Savadogo has served the diocese since September 2017 as a Fidei donum missionary priest.

Savadogo has served as the pastor and rector of the Saint-Hyacinthe Cathedral since August 2025. He also serves the bishop as the diocesan chancellor. This legal transition formalizes his long-term ministry in the diocese, establishing a stable bond of belonging that includes reciprocal rights and duties between the priest and the bishop.
