Cardinal Czerny encourages Church mission in Amazon

Cardinal Czerny encouraged the Church to continue its mission to support the most isolated and impoverished indigenous communities in the Amazon.

In a message for the 25th interinstitutional meeting of the missionary project, the cardinal invited participants to reflect on the past, present, and future of their work. He urged those involved to remain engaged while preserving the richness of local diversity. Czerny also suggested that disciples should allow God to question them so they can better understand how to assist Amazonian populations.
