Le Diocèse de Trois-Rivières appuie le mouvement Le communautaire à boutte

The Diocese of Trois-Rivières is supporting the Le communautaire à boutte movement during its national mobilization on September 15, 2026, in Trois-Rivières. The diocese expressed its solidarity with community workers and organizations throughout Quebec.

Diocesan administrator Claude Lapointe stated that the Church cannot recognize the essential role of community organizations while allowing their staff to work in conditions of exhaustion and instability. Lapointe noted that caring for the social safety net requires caring for the people who maintain it every day.
