Le Parlement britannique rejette le projet de loi sur l’aide à mourir

British lawmakers rejected a bill to legalize assisted dying in England and Wales on September 11. Following four hours of emotional debate, 286 members of Parliament voted against the proposal.

The rejection comes after a similar proposal failed earlier this spring. Although the vote was expected to be close, the measure did not pass.
