Leo in Lourdes: Conversion Starts With the Church

Pope Leo XIV told listeners in Lourdes on September 27 that the Church must undergo conversion by recognizing its own faults. During a sermon, the pope said the Church needs the courage to place itself under the Lord's purifying gaze to heal deep wounds and painful errors.

The pope's remarks followed a private meeting held that same day with French survivors of abuse within the Church.
