Pope Leo celebrated Mass at the Shrine of Szűzanyja Jó Tanács in Genazzano on September 7. The shrine, located near Rome, is maintained by agostonrendi monks.

During the visit, which took place on the eve of the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the pope presented an aranyrózsát to Mary. He also unveiled a fresco depicting himself in prayer before the miraculous image, following a tradition established by previous popes who visited the shrine.
