Leo XIV in Paris: France’s new faithful are a sign of grace

Pope Leo XIV addressed members of the Provincial Synodal Assembly of Île-de-France at the Institut Catholique de Paris on Saturday morning. He spoke to the assembly alongside catechumens and newly baptized Catholics.

The visit to the Institut Catholique de Paris, the largest French-speaking Catholic faculty in the world, marks the first time a pope has visited the institution in nearly 50 years. The Pope traveled to the faculty following a visit to Maison Bakhita.
