Pope Leo XIV told participants of the first AI4Peace Global Biennial Symposium and International Conference that artificial intelligence should serve peace and the common good.

In a message to the attendees, the Pope said that developing artificial intelligence in a world marked by conflict and division requires wisdom and love. He stated that technological progress must protect human dignity, strengthen connections between people, and help build peace.
