León XIV en la UNESCO: Una visita histórica

Pope Leo XIV will visit the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on September 25, 2026, to deliver an address. This visit, which occurs on the same day the Pope arrives in France to begin a pastoral trip, follows a formal invitation from UNESCO Director General Khaled El-Enany.

Leo XIV will be the second pope to visit the UNESCO headquarters in person. The last pontiff to speak at the venue was Saint John Paul II, who delivered a speech there on June 2, 1980.
