Leoni XIV: “jo luftërat, por thurja e paqes ndërton qytetërimin”

Pope Leo XIV met with approximately 50 members of the International Center for Pope Leo XIV Studies at the Vatican on September 18, 2026. The Pope told the delegates that wars destroy, whereas the weaving of peace builds civilization.

The research, formation, and cultural production institution was established in October 2025 under the Augustinian Order and is dedicated to the figure and teaching of Pope Leo XIV. During the meeting in the Sala del Concistoro, the Pope encouraged the center to promote training for public and political life as service to the common good. He also emphasized the importance of prudence and critical thinking to build a civilization of love based on Church social teaching.
