Archdiocese of Reims proposes 2 new books
The Jean Gerson diocesan library in the Archdiocese of Reims has proposed two new books for October 2026.
One release is Grégoire: Homélies sur le Cantique des Cantiques XI-XV, featuring an introduction, text, translation, notes, and index by Mariette Canévet and Françoise Vinel. This volume covers the final five homilies on the Cantique des Cantiques, ending at the commentary on Ct 6, 9. The work examines the spiritual progress of the Épouse and her relationship to the Époux, Christ, as well as the descriptions of the corps de l’Église.
