Les Papes et la France

A new documentary titled The Popes and France traces the historical relationship between the papacy and France from the era of Clovis to the Republic. Directed by Bruno Aguila, the film was released to coincide with the pope's visit to France scheduled for September 25 to 28.

The film highlights the consistent devotion of various popes to Lourdes. It references how the dogma of the Immaculate Conception was confirmed at the site through a young peasant girl. The documentary is a co-production between KTO and Merapi Productions.
