Vicariato Apostolico di Beirut opens aid center for migrant workers

The Apostolic Vicariate of Beirut opened an aid center in Jounieh to support migrant workers who have lost their freedom and rights. The center is managed by the vicariate and the Italian organization Celim.

Bishop Essayan, the Apostolic Vicar of Beirut, stated that protecting the lives and dignity of these workers is a necessary duty. The center aims to assist those affected by the Kafala system.
