Liège prie pour les Hautes Fagnes, ravagées par un vaste incendie

Bishop Jean-Pierre Delville of Liège presided over a Mass for a wounded creation in the Hautes Fagnes on September 26, 2026. Held outdoors, the service was part of the Temps de la Création and addressed the damage caused by a massive fire that swept through the area's peatlands, moors, and forests last August.

The fire was part of what was described as the worst wildfire in Belgian history during the summer.
