Lisboa: Patriarcado e Cáritas assinam protocolo que abre caminho a projetos de habitação a custos acessíveis

The Patriarchate of Lisbon, Cáritas de Lisboa, and IFRRU 2030 signed a collaboration agreement on Thursday to develop affordable and moderate rental housing projects.

The document was signed by Patriarch Rui Valério, IFRRU 2030 president Isabel Barroso de Sousa, and Cáritas Diocesana de Lisboa president Luís Macieira Fragoso. A statement from Cáritas Diocesana de Lisboa cited by the Patriarchate says the partnership seeks to combine efforts to create new housing opportunities by identifying buildings suitable for housing for affordable rental.

The note states that this collaboration reinforces the institution's commitment to working with public and private entities to find responses for families facing the greatest difficulties in accessing housing.
