Listen, speak up and respond this Safeguarding Sunday

The Integrity and Safeguarding Department is inviting parishes, schools, and communities to participate in the Safeguarding Commitment Wall Competition for Safeguarding Sunday on September 13. This year's theme, Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversations to Action, encourages children and adults to reflect on their roles in creating safe and inclusive environments.

The event concludes National Child Protection Week and serves to renew commitments to protecting children, young people, and adults at risk within ministries and pastoral communities. Annie Millard stated that the goal is to move beyond policies and compliance to ensure that listening and responding with care helps build a culture of safety and trust.
