LIVING LIFE TO ITS FULLEST

Maria Abello, a dentist and parishioner at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, grew up in Bacolod, Philippines, where her faith was shaped by her maternal grandmother. Abello attended Catholic schools through college and attended daily 6 a.m. Mass at San Sebastian Cathedral with her grandmother while living in Bacolod to attend school.

After graduating from dental school in the Philippines, Abello moved to Lynnwood, Washington, to join her parents. She married her husband, Bing, in Washington in 1987 while completing parts of her dental licensure. Abello now practices dentistry at her office in Aliso Viejo and serves in various ministries at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
