The Diocese of Nha Trang released a reflection on the boundless generosity of God, using the parable of the vineyard workers to explain the relationship between God and different groups of people.

The reflection identifies God as the owner of the vineyard, which represents the Kingdom of God. It explains that the workers hired at dawn represent the people of Israel, who were the first to receive God's covenant. Those hired later in the day represent people who were not part of Israel and were strangers to the promises of the covenant until the appearance of Christ.
