Lourdes Day 3: A Journey of Faith, Healing and Hope

Pilgrims from the Diocese of Cork and Ross participated in several religious activities during their third day in Lourdes. The morning included an indoor Stations of the Cross held in preparation for the visit of Pope Leo XIV. During the service, student and young adult helpers carried the Stations to the Pilgrim Cross, which Archdeacon Kerry Murphy O’Connor blessed in 2014.

Father Charlie Kiely led a walking tour through the sites associated with St. Bernadette to teach pilgrims about her life and her role in sharing the message of Our Lady. The day's schedule also included Mass with the Anointing of the Sick.
