Lourdes Day 4: Taking the Spirit of Lourdes Home

Bishop Fintan led a Mass at the Grotto during the fourth day of the Diocese of Cork and Ross pilgrimage to Lourdes. The celebration included prayers from families, friends, parishes, and Families of Parishes from across the diocese.

During his homily, Bishop Fintan told pilgrims to reflect on what they would carry back to Cork and Ross. He said the group is being sent home with the faith and simplicity of St. Bernadette, the tenderness of Mary, the friendships shared during the trip, and a renewed awareness of the presence and love of Jesus Christ.
