Pope Leo XIV concluded his visit to Lourdes by pausing before the image of the Immaculate Conception as the Salve Regina played. After the hymn, the pope entered the sanctuary behind the statue while more than 150,000 pilgrims applauded, according to Rome Reports.

This event served as the final stop in Lourdes before the pope travels to Metz the following day for the third and final part of his apostolic journey through France.
