Parish community meals serve as a way for people to gather, share stories, and express gratitude to God. These gatherings, which include serving meals before council meetings or hosting coffee and donuts after Sunday Mass, help parishioners get to know one another better.

During a previous pastorate at Our Lady of Guadalupe in St. Paul, a local catering company donated meals every Wednesday to feed anyone who was hungry or alone. The owners of the company organized these donations to give back and thank God for their blessings. Community dinners remain popular as parishes continue to host gatherings following the COVID-19 pandemic.
