MALAWI: Prelate Applauds Catholic Women Association for Living the Strategic Plan

Bishop Alfred Mateyu Chaima of the Diocese of Zomba praised the Catholic Women Association for following the diocesan strategic plan to build a self-reliant church. He noted that the association's recent purchase of a bus demonstrates how the local church can complete projects independently.

The bus is intended to help the association overcome mobility challenges and reach more areas within and beyond the diocese for evangelization services. Bishop Chaima encouraged other diocesan groups to be visionary and work with the same unity to achieve the goals of the strategic plan.

The chaplain for the association, Father Michael Mkhomeni, told the women to use the vehicle for spiritual activities to deepen their faith. He also advised them to manage the income from hiring the bus properly.
