The parish of Santa María de Sants in Barcelona commemorates Monsignor Puig on September 15.

Jorge López Teulón reports that Puig served as a pastor in Sants for twenty years. During his tenure, he organized spiritual exercise sessions that grew in size and reputation. He was also known for his devotion to the Eucharist and his defense of Church rights.
