Bishop Augusto Mascagna presents catechesis guidelines

Bishop Augusto Mascagna presented new catechesis guidelines and tools to catechists and animators of the Gruppi di ascolto del Vangelo of the Diocese of Pistoia on September 30. The meeting took place at the Aula liturgica of the Santuario di Valdibrana.

The diocese released a calendar of appointments for the 2026/2027 pastoral year and a guide for parish workshops to be organized by October 30. Participants must send the results of these workshops to the Ufficio Catechistico, which will present the findings to the bishop.

Animators of the Gruppi di ascolto del Vangelo will receive a year-long guide based on Apocalisse 2-3 during a distribution on November 2 at the Seminario Vescovile di Pistoia. A guide for the start of the pastoral year also provides methods and a worksheet for working with youth using 1Cor 1,2-3.
