Maurizio Fiasco comments on neo-Nazi network of minors

Maurizio Fiasco, a sociologist, described the investigation into a neo-Nazi network of minors as a serious situation that resembles a relay restarting after decades. Speaking to Agenzia SIR, Fiasco warned about the charm of terrible ideologies following reports that 14 minors and 3 adults are under investigation.

Police investigators are looking into a network spanning from northern cities like Milan, Bologna, and Verona to southern locations including Palermo and Catanzaro, with a presence in Rome. The individuals face allegations of propaganda, incitement to crime based on racial, ethnic, or religious discrimination, and training for terrorist activities. Authorities seized weapons, knuckle dusters, Nazi symbols, and electronic devices during searches of their homes.

The investigation revealed that the group used social media groups, such as the “Chat del Nuovo Ordine Europeo” and the “Fronte Fascista Italiano,” to share content against Jewish people, homosexuals, and people of color. Investigators also found videos of massacres, manuals for building explosives, instructions for using weapons, and threats regarding potential attacks on a mosque, a synagogue, and a school.
