Mensaje a los participantes de la Semana Social 2026

The Archdiocese of Asunción welcomed participants to the 2026 Social Week at the Metropolitan Seminary. In a message to attendees, the Archdiocese welcomed Bishop Marcelo Benítez, who oversees social pastoral work, and Bishop Pierre Jubinville, president of the Paraguayan Episcopal Conference.

The message noted that Pope Leo XIV addressed the second chapter of the pastoral constitution Gaudium et Spes during a general audience on September 16. The Pope spoke about the human community and the close connection between the development of society and the improvement of the human person.
