Mgr César Essayan calls for peace in Lebanon

Bishop César Essayan called for peace in Lebanon during a meeting in Rome with the Pope. Essayan joined members of the Conférence épiscopale latine des régions arabes (CELRA) for the meeting on Thursday.

The bishop addressed the war in his country and discussed the steps required to move toward peace. He stated that the Lebanese deserve a future of dignity and spoke about the mission of the Church and the Holy See during this difficult context.
