Mgr Christian Rodembourg recounts his mission to the Holy Land

Bishop Christian Rodembourg shared details of his January mission to the Holy Land during an appearance on the NousTV program Signes d’aujourd’hui. Representing the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, Rodembourg joined an international delegation of bishops and several laypeople to visit Christian communities in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and surrounding areas.

The bishop described meeting seminarians, visiting works for children with disabilities, and speaking remotely with the priest of Gaza. He highlighted a meeting with Jewish, Muslim, and Christian families who lost children to violence and chose to work together for peace and reconciliation.

Rodembourg encouraged people to support Christians in the region through prayer, material aid, and future pilgrimages when circumstances allow.
