Micronesian Catholic community invites all to cultural celebration
The Chuukese Catholic Community and other Micronesian island Catholic communities in Hawaii will host a cultural celebration at Kapiolani Regional Park in Honolulu on Oct. 17. The daylong event runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and features cultural presentations including dance, songs, attire, and demonstrations of sacred traditions.
