Ks. Jakub Nagi talks about the role of Catholic media

Father Jakub Nagi, director of Catholic Radio VIA, says Catholic media should serve as a reliable and calm space for people to understand the world and encounter the Gospel. In a conversation with Agnieszka Boja, Nagi explained that the mission of Catholic media extends beyond religious content to include accompanying people in their daily lives and addressing social issues.

Nagi noted that in an era of rapid information flow, listeners need responsible communication that helps them organize their understanding of reality. He described radio as an effective tool for evangelization, citing Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen as an example of how media can connect modern questions with the Gospel.

The discussion coincided with a collection for the development of the radio station. The collection took place on Sunday, September 20, in parishes across the Diocese of Rzeszów.
