Milheirós de Poiares: o novo Administrador Paroquial

Father Jorge Cruz da Costa took office as the new parish administrator for Milheirós de Poiares in the Santa Maria da Feira deanery during a Mass on Saturday, September 12. He succeeds Father José Manuel Pereira de Andrade.

During the installation, Vicar Father José Carlos Teixeira Ribeiro led the new administrator to the presiding chair. In the episcopal decree of appointment, Bishop Manuel Linda expressed confidence in Father Jorge and requested that his ministry of teaching, sanctifying, and governing helps the faithful feel like living members of the diocesan and universal Church.

Deacon José Valentim Azevedo thanked the outgoing priest, Father José Manuel, and noted the community's readiness to welcome new leadership. In his homily, Father Jorge thanked the community for their dedication and spoke about the necessity of interior change through dialogue and forgiveness.
