Bishop Alejandro Arellano Cedillo presided over the 34th Marian Day of Families held at Torreciudad. Approximately 7,000 people attended the event.

Arellano Cedillo serves as the dean of the Roman Rota Tribunal and the plenipotentiary commissioner for Torreciudad. He described the site as a beacon of hope within the Church of Barbastro-Monzón.
