Monseñor Juan Gómez confirms 69 youths in Santa Cruz

Catholic IntelligenceUpdated 1 min read

Auxiliary Bishop Juan Gómez confirmed 69 young people from the San Pedro and San Pablo Parish in Santa Cruz during a Mass on Saturday, October 10.

The group received the sacrament following a period of catechetical preparation. During his homily, Bishop Gómez told the recipients that their decision to follow Christ calls them to be disciples and missionaries in their homes, schools, workplaces, and social circles. He encouraged the youth to let God's love transform how they relate to others through service, forgiveness, and respect for human dignity.
