Monsignor Baturi attends media meeting in Venezia

Monsignor Giuseppe Baturi attended a media meeting in Venice on Friday, September 11, to discuss the relationship between cinema, culture, and information. The event took place during the 83rd Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia and was organized by the Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo.

Baturi, the Segretario Generale and Archbishop of Cagliari, spoke about the importance of cinema. He stated that the Church loves cinema because it brings light and praised the Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo for its passionate approach to the world of cinema and its focus on admiring the human person.
