Mula celebra el aniversario de la aparición del Niño Jesús

The Santo Domingo de Guzmán Parish in Mula is holding a novena to honor the anniversary of the apparition of the Child Jesus of Balate. The celebrations include daily Rosary prayers at 19:30 and masses presided over by different priests, followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after the 20:00 Mass. The parish is also open to the public every morning from 9:00 to 12:00.

A children's procession is scheduled for Saturday, starting at 18:30 at the Real Monasterio de la Encarnación and ending at the parish. On the night of September 20 to 21, a nocturnal pilgrimage will take place. During this event, the parish will remain open all night, and the traditional Misa del Peregrino will begin at 00:00 with music from the Niño Jesús del Balate choir and dance group of the Alegría Muleña peña huertana.

On the feast day, masses are scheduled for 6:00, 10:00, 11:30, 13:00, and 18:00. Juan Tudela, the vicar general of the Diocese of Cartagena, will preside over the 11:30 Mass, during which the Cofradía del Divino Niño Jesús de Belén de Mula will present an honorary distinction. Following the 18:00 Mass, a procession with the image will begin.
