Music, prayer and chat for everyone

Dozens of young people gathered at St Ignatius College in Adelaide’s eastern foothills in late July for the annual Power Up event. Organized by the Catholic Office for Youth and Young Adults, the gathering included workshops on faith, ecology, and social justice, alongside contemporary prayer and spiritual reflection. The event concluded with a 6pm Mass and dinner featuring live music.

Sr Elizabeth Morris RSJ, Mary Cresp RSJ, and Nithya Rayappan CP organized a Vocation Activation session. This session allowed attendees to have conversations focused on national vocations awareness week, which ran shortly after the event.
