Bishop Maksimilijan addressed priests from the Laško-Videm ob Savi deanery during a retreat in Dobova on September 2, 2026. He spoke to the gathered clergy following a Holy Mass held at the start of the new pastoral year.

The bishop used the address to discuss fundamental decisions facing the priests as they begin their new assignments. He noted that the recent reading of the Word of God places the clergy at a starting point for these upcoming choices.
