National Synodal Gathering – Have Your Say

The Diocese of Kerry is asking parishioners to read a new working document and submit feedback to help prepare the local delegation for the upcoming National Synodal Assembly. The document, titled “Is this not what God asks of you?”, summarizes the Irish Synodal Pathway process that began in spring 2020 and offers proposals for the Irish Church organized into five categories.

The National Synodal Assembly will meet in Gormanstown, Co. Meath. Delegates from the Dioceses of Ireland and various Church organizations will attend the assembly to consider the proposals.

Parishioners in Kerry can submit their views to the diocesan delegation through an online form. The diocese will read all submissions to guide the delegation's participation in the assembly. The deadline for these submissions is 5pm on Tuesday 13th October.
