New Documentary Celebrates 100 Years of the Irish College in Rome

A new documentary film marks the centenary of the Irish College in Rome by featuring interviews with Fr Aidan Ryan. Members of the Alumni Association gathered in Rome this week for the launch of the film, which explores the history of the college on the Caelian Hill.

Produced and edited by Roxana McCormack, the documentary covers the history of the college from the 1926 construction of its current building. Fr Ryan shares his personal experiences as a student during the Second Vatican Council. Cardinal Seán Brady attended the launch event alongside Fr Ryan and McCormack.
