New mums celebrate Season of Creation

New mothers at Trinity Catholic College gathered for a Paint and Sip evening to celebrate the Season of Creation. The event allowed the women to connect through art and conversation while reflecting on the relationship between faith, family, and the natural world.

Participants painted native Australian flowers inspired by this year's Season of Creation theme, Living Water. The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle noted that the flower imagery served as a symbol for the nurturing required for all living things to flourish. For the mothers, this reflected the support, love, and spiritual guidance needed to help children grow.

The Season of Creation is observed by Christian communities from September 1 to October 4. This year's theme highlights the source of life that sustains both faith and the natural world.
