New Trenton Religious Education Directors board named at PCL convocation

The Diocese of Trenton installed the 2026-27 Trenton Religious Education Directors (TRED) Board during the Parish Catechetical Leader Convocation on Sept. 10. The event took place at St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral in Freehold and included Mass, prayer services, and a keynote presentation by Dr. Patrick Manning from Seton Hall University.

Mariyam Francis of Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish in Mercer County was named president of the board. Mark Rusoniello of St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral will serve as vice president for Monmouth County, taking over the position previously held by Francis.

Michelle Doré, a parish leader at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Cinnaminson, was named treasurer representing Burlington County. Michelle Abi-Yaghi, a parish leader in the Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley in Pennington, was named the representative for Mercer County.
