Author Ewa Dmowska explained that she did not originally intend to write books containing Christian messages. In an interview with Aleteia, Dmowska discussed her transition from writing fantasy and thrillers to producing works with themes centered on faith in God.

Dmowska stated that the inclusion of these religious messages in her writing was not entirely her own choice. She noted that she had not anticipated becoming an author of books with such spiritual content.
