Nigerian bishops decry Islamist attack on mosque (Crux)

Nigerian bishops condemned the abduction of more than 60 worshippers from a mosque in Borgu. In a statement released August 27, the bishops said that attacks on any place of worship constitute an attack on collective humanity.

Local residents attributed the kidnapping to Lakurawa, an affiliate of the Islamic State.
