Fr. Robert Spitzer released a new book titled "Science, Reason, and Faith Catholic Study Bible" in July. The 2,059-page volume serves as a study Bible designed to address the relationship between science, philosophy, and Catholic teaching.

The book includes five introductory chapters for the Old Testament and four for the New Testament. It features extensive margin notes intended to explain perceived conflicts between scientific findings, reason, and Catholic teaching. This work follows Spitzer's 2023 book, "Science, Reason, and Faith: Discovering the Bible."

Spitzer is a Jesuit priest and the founder and president of the Magis Center of Reason and Faith, a nonprofit located on the Christ Cathedral campus. He is also a philosopher, educator, author, speaker, and former president of Gonzaga University.
