Nombramientos del obispo de Cartagena

The Bishop of Cartagena has issued several appointments for priests and lay associations within the diocese.

According to the Diocese of Cartagena, Father Miguel Solana Gil was appointed chaplain for the Hermanitas de los Pobres elderly residence on September 3, 2026. On September 16, 2026, Father Ignacio Gamboa Gil de Sola was named pastor of Nuestra Señora de la Piedad in Perín, and Father Ángel Soler Larrosa was named pastor of Santiago Apóstol in Cuesta Blanca. Father Francisco Moya Moya ended his service as chaplain for the Santa Lucía and Santa María del Rosell hospitals in Cartagena.

The diocese also confirmed changes for several lay groups. The Cofradía de Jesús Nazareno y Cristo Crucificado was canonically established as a public association of the faithful linked to the Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles parish in Sangonera la Verde, and its name was changed to Cofradía de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno y Cristo Crucificado. Additionally, the diocese confirmed Manuel Pérez Morodo as president of the Hermandad Caballeros de San José de Roldán in Torre Pacheco through July 10, 2030, and Pedro Ortiz Vicente as president of the Hermandad de Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores in Totana.
