Nomeações do bispo do Porto no mês de setembro

The Bishop of Porto has issued several appointments and dispensations for clergy within the Diocese of Porto for September. These changes, made after consulting the Episcopal Council, aim to adapt the diocese to changing needs and the spiritual well-being of the community.

Father Marcos Nuno Ribeiro Faria has been appointed rector of the Seminário Maior de Nossa Senhora da Conceição and the propaedeutic period. This follows his dispensation from his previous roles as prefect of the seminary and vice-rector of the propaedeutic period. In the Vigararia de Felgueiras, Father Adalgizo Ferreira da Silva (OCARM) has been appointed parish priest.

Several priests have been relieved of their current duties. Father Altamiro Tenório da Paz (OCARM) and Father Manuel Gomes de Castro (OCARM) have both been dispensed from serving as parish priests in Lordelo (S. Cristóvão), Pedreira (Stª Marinha), and Unhão (Divino Salvador). Additionally, Father Manuel Amorim Barreiro (OFM) has been dispensed from his role as chaplain at Hospital de São João.
