Notice of Press Conference

The Holy See Press Office will hold a press conference on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. to discuss an upcoming meeting between Pope Leo XIV and the heads of the Eastern Churches and presidents of episcopal conferences. The meeting, titled Ten years after Amoris Laetitia: proclaiming the Gospel with families today, is scheduled to take place in the Paul VI Hall from the afternoon of Wednesday, October 7, until the late afternoon of Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Pope Leo XIV will preside over a Holy Mass in Saint Peter’s Square at 10:00 a.m. on the final day of the meeting. The press conference will be livestreamed on the Vatican News YouTube channel. Journalists and media operators wishing to participate remotely must apply through the Holy See Press Office online accreditation system at least two hours before the event begins. Those admitted will receive a link to a virtual platform that allows them to ask questions.
