Nova Coordenação da Pastoral da Comunicação do Regional Sul-1 da CNBB

The presidency of the CNBB Regional South-1 has appointed a new leadership team for the Regional Coordination of the Pastoral Care of Communication (PASCOM). The team will serve for the duration of the current regional presidency mandate.

Luís Cláudio de Oliveira from the Archdiocese of Campinas will serve as coordinator, with André Botelho Cares from the Archdiocese of São José do Rio Preto as vice-coordinator. Bruno Andrade Gabriel from the Diocese of São José dos Campos will serve as secretary.

The new team is tasked with monitoring, coordinating, and promoting communication ministry across the individual churches within the South-1 region. This work involves following CNBB guidelines and maintaining dialogue with dioceses, pastoral groups, and Church services to integrate communication with evangelization efforts.

The regional presidency thanked Edite Neves for her service leading the regional coordination. Neves has transitioned to a new role as the national vice-coordinator for the Pastoral Care of Communication.
